Vol. 1: Genesis Debuts October 1 with Global Collection of Art and Storytelling
Philadelphia, PA – September 24, 2025 – Happie Literacy Works, through its publishing imprint Happie Face Publishing House, is proud to announce the launch of the inaugural issue of Luminaura Magazine, Vol. 1: Genesis, which launched on October 1 at luminauramag.com.
This vibrant new journal brings together 37 original works from 28 authors and artists spanning the U.S., Canada, and the Philippines. With a unique blend of art, poetry, flash fiction, short stories, a theatrical scene, and a novelette, Luminaura shines as a showcase for creativity that crosses borders and genres.
The theme of the debut issue, Genesis, represents not only the beginning of a bold creative journey for its contributors but also the next chapter for Happie Literacy Works. Known for its focus on uplifting independent authors, HLW is expanding its publishing operations from individual projects into full collections and multimedia storytelling experiences.
“Luminaura Magazine is a space where imagination is ethereal and light as the name of the journal suggests,” said Dominique J. Smiley, founder of Happie Literacy Works and Editor-in-Chief of Luminaura Magazine. “This first volume is a celebration of new and bright beginnings. My hope is that readers will not only enjoy the experience of Luminaura but will also be inspired to share their own work in future volumes.”
Luminaura Magazine: Vol. 1, Genesis will be free to read online at luminauramag.com until next summer. Readers will also have the opportunity to download a digital copy once Volume 2 is announced for release.
With its fusion of literary and visual art, Luminaura offers readers a front-row seat to a growing global creative movement — one that encourages both discovery and participation.
